International Conference for Plant Mitochondrial Biology in Lake Tahoe, on May 9-14, 2009

Welcome to the International Conference on Plant Mitochondrial Biology being held at the Granlibakken Resort and Conference Center. Granlibakken is a Norwegian name for “sheltered by trees”, and we think you will love the site we have selected for the meeting. The resort is located at the North end of Lake Tahoe, is nestled in a valley of 74 acres surrounded by an abundant forest of pine trees. It is 55 miles from the Reno Tahoe International Airport and 215 miles from the San Francisco International Airport.

The conference begins Saturday, May 9 and goes through Thursday, May 14, 2009. We are pleased to be hosting you this year with an outstanding program.

Please note that the deadline for submission of abstracts and registration has been extended to March 15, 2009

We look forward to seeing you!
